Joined Asia Pacific Leaders’ Forum – Blogging 101 at Paradizoo and Residence Inn

rsz_1mbp_pinkWith more and more bloggers added to the industry everyday, it is relevant to keep up with what the readers need while staying true to your writing niche. With Zoomanity Group holding this year’s Asia Pacific Leaders’ Forum Blogging 101, bloggers like myself are fully supported and provided seamless and continuous training on how to excel and be responsible as we write.

In the coming weeks, feel free to bookmark this page or follow this page as I write about my takeaways from the bloggers’ forum. The day started with a tour of Paradizoo. And with an overnight accommodation at Zoobic Safari plus tickets (from my previous Zoocobia experience) I can use at Paradizoo, I will certainly come back with my family and kids in tow and you will certainly read about that experience on my upcoming posts. So off we went hopping from every inch and corner of Paradizoo. Among the highlights are opportunities to have visitors feed the animals, interact with them at a safe distance, all while reading all the relevant trivia posted around the fenced areas.

There were two spots where we saw Arabian camels. One was actually up for riding and the other one was caged and can be fed with greens.

And then there was the five-legged cow, countless horses and ostriches. It is hard to notice the spacious, grassy lawns around the animals. Kids will certainly have a good time running around the area, and will never run out of games to play while they walk around to see the animals. The rabbit cages look like a mini rabbit village, complete with mini rabbit houses and play area. Kids will surely love feeding the rabbits, just be ready for the smell of the animals, as they are placed right next to each other and can create pungent animal smell for kids.

After the forum, it was time to go to Residence Inn Tagaytay. The albino Burmese python looks intimidating and super scary but was cold, quiet and non responsive, both in the cage and even while touched and held for photos. Was not brave enough to touch and pet the tiger, was woken up in between pictures and fed milk as visitors go into the fence for photos.

Honey is made available for anyone who wants to buy plus a butterfly garden full of it, that you will not know which one to take picture of. They are so many, the butterflies do not mind and do not get bothered as they land on plants, flowers and even on visitors!

A farm is not a farm without the plants and the gardens. The vegetable garden is quite a view and it comes with good news as it offers fresh, organic vegetables that visitors can buy and take home.

bloggerfriendsIt was definitely a day empowering. The bloggers forum empowering us to write, network and develop accountability and responsibility, the tour refreshing our eyes with beautiful, picturesque nature view and the people we have added as valuable friends.

Too Much Time on Pinterest? Go See the Real Deal!

rsz_1mbp_pinkTagaytay has been a constant place for our family celebrations and milestones. If you were like our family, we like Tagaytay for its cooler temperature, quieter scenes and restful away-from-home-spots. We had a smoke-free and zero-pollution New Year’s Eve celebration once in Tagaytay, my husband and I also used to troop all the way to Tagaytay for its hot bulalo dinner, all while looking over the scenic view of Taal Lake.

It was also in Tagaytay where my boys first tried how to play a kite. I am not surprised why so many people consider Tagaytay as a top place for rest, recreation and quality time with family.

It is no wonder why Serin East Tagaytay, Avida Land’s latest residential development amidst the beautiful Tagaytay City stands on a quiet location that gives its residents the privilege to enjoy a new side of Tagaytay as a contemporary haven with a laidback feel. I had a taste of this feel along with other bloggers who attended the launch of Serin East Tagaytay held at the Avida Showroom in Glorietta, Makati City. Avida partnered with tastemakers of bespoke furnishings – Joel Salazar and Paul Baez of Lucina Home, and Kristine Neri-Magturo and Mike Magturo of Urban Abode for the launch, to exude the Tagaytay lifestyle offered in Serin East Tagaytay.

For my mom readers, who have not read Good Housekeeping? Avida Land came out with the second issue of Stay Tagaytay magazine in partnership with Good Housekeeping on discovering the dream life at Serin East Tagaytay. Now, you do not have to wait until retirement before you can experience a rewarding and restful kind of laid-back lifestyle.

Serin East Tagaytay will rise along the diversion road connecting Aguinaldo Highway and the Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway, right next door to Ayala Malls Serin. It will surely be a getaway that allows you the luxury of having everything you need nearby! I know that is a weird mix but the trunkshow has given us a glimpse of how it will be. Rather than spending too much time on Pinterest, see beautiful homes displayed through the Artisanal furnishing display at the Avida Showroom in Glorietta, available for public viewing for the entire month of July.
